On any given day, thousands of companion animals die in shelters for a lack of homes or rescues in their local area. It may be somewhere across one state, several states or across the country, there is a rescue or someone who could provide the perfect home, but have no way of getting it to them.
RollingRescue lends the wheels to bring these animals home.
Our primary tool is our YAHOO! list which serves as a kind of "load board" to help transport coordinators and the drivers find each other. Our moderators work by phone with our trucker volunteers to match them with a suitable transport. Everyone else uses the list to spot transports they can help with and make direct contact with the transport coordinator needing their help.
